I Needed Support With Managing My Anger And Triggers

 
 

When we first connected, I needed support with managing my anger and triggers, as well as with feeling overwhelmed. I felt lost and confused about how to change.

After my first session, I was excited to finally start the journey of understanding my feelings and where they stemmed from and also to realize the actual steps it would take for that to happen.

Since coaching, I can manage my expectations around different relationships a lot better and can now appreciate each of my relationships for what they are instead of comparing them to each other.

I still have my “moments” but can now see them for just that… moments. They are not permanent and I can use them as tools if I allow myself - I can stop and evaluate why I feel the way I feel, and can use this knowledge to work towards being better in the future.

The fact that I didn’t have a single “epiphany” or “breakthrough” surprised me the most about our series. It was incorporating little techniques and small changes that made the biggest impact in the end.

My biggest learning was to feel and listen to my feelings! I did not realize how disconnected I was and how little I understood about these. I’m definitely still a work in progress, but the fact that I understand that helps.

Learning that validation is not the same as being placed on a pedestal was also pivotal for me. I can start to trust my inner grace now!
